Automatic Power Selects SAP Business ByDesign

Dating back to WWII, Automatic Power was known as The Lighthouse, Inc. During that time, and ever since, Automatic Power provided aids to navigate the first oil rigs along the coast of Texas.  Over the next 15 years, their growth exploded, leading the company to create five seperate entities around the globe.  Today, their two main divisions are Automatic Power, Inc. and Pharos Marine.

Recently, Automatic Power, Inc., based in Houston, Texas, evaluated and subsequently selected SAP Business ByDesign.  SAP Business ByDesign, SAP's latest on-demand/SaaS based ERP software is designed for rapidly growing midsize companies looking for complete, enterprise-wide integration.  Up until now, Automatic Power had been running Infor Syteline.

Navigator Named 2012 VAR Star

Navigator, has been selected as a member of the Bob Scott’s VAR Stars for 2012, a group of 100 organizations honored for their accomplishments in the field of midmarket financial software

Members of the VAR Stars were selected based on factors such growth, industry leadership and recognition, and innovation. Selection is not based on revenue and those firms chosen represent a wide range of size and many different software publishers of accounting software.

SAP Business ByDesign was selected to support Plum Organics anticipated growth, provide a platform for Plum Organics to integrate key business processes and to improve processes with outsourced manufacturers.  Specifically, this project enables integration with SPS Commerce; allowing Plum Organics to receive purchase orders and send out invoices to its customers. Additionally, processes were developed to support Plum Organics three different outsources manufacturing models.

The Delivery Team: 

Navigator Business Solutions, the #1 Global Partner for SAP Business ByDesign presented the solution to Plum Organics, and were subsequently heavily involved in the overall 4-month implementation process.  Highly experienced SAP team members served as the project managers on this implementation.
