SAP recently announced that SAP Business ByDesign will be delisted from the SAP pricelist for new customers starting April 20, 2026. While that may sound concerning at first glance, here’s what it really means for you as an existing SAP Business ByDesign customer:
There is no impact on your system. SAP has confirmed there is no planned end date for SAP Business ByDesign maintenance.
Your system will continue to receive scheduled updates. SAP is committed to all necessary compliance, security, and legal updates.
You are not required to move. Current customers can continue running SAP Business ByDesign as long as the solution meets their needs. SAP is committed to keeping your system secure and compliant.
Navigator is here for the long haul. Our team has worked with ByDesign since its earliest days, and we will continue to provide implementation, optimization, and managed services for our customers and all those that seek a trusted Partner to continue their support using SAP Business ByDesign to run their business.
At the same time, we know that business needs change. Some companies may eventually require additional functionality, scalability, or integration. That’s where Navigator adds value as your trusted partner:
- We’ll continue to support and enhance your current ByDesign system for as long as you run it.
- If and when you’re ready, we’ll guide you through a smooth, low-risk migration path to SAP’s future-facing solutions, such as SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (Cloud ERP).
- We bring expertise in data migration accelerators, cloud adoption, and best practices so that when the time comes, your transition is seamless and strategic.
The Bottom Line:
SAP Business ByDesign isn’t going away for current customers, and neither is Navigator. We’re committed to standing by your side, keeping your systems secure, compliant, and future-ready.
